Companies make significant financial and human capital commitments to offer competitive benefits programs that meet the needs of diverse workforces. GCIAS knows that achieving a return on this investment means more than simply hiring a benefits vendor. That’s why we go a step further, assigning dedicated resources to provide oversight of the relationship, from strategy to operations to participant engagement and education.
Executive Relationship Management & Employee Education
Welcome

Executive Relationship Management
The administrative aspects of benefits vendor relationships are complicated. From program initiation to ongoing operations, there are multiple moving parts that impact thousands of participant interactions, millions of dollars in benefits, and, potentially, the financial future of participants. When a vendor supports more than one benefit program, the integration can increase the complexity dramatically.

To help plan sponsors manage the overall relationship, GCIAS dedicates an executive relationship manager, who serves as a single point of contact and is responsible for:

  • The overall effectiveness of the services provided

  • Engagement of Bank of America and Merrill resources for strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, conversions, plan changes, etc.

  • Ensuring ongoing process improvement and application of best practices

  • Escalation of opportunities and issues resolution

Equipping Employees at all Levels to Pursue Financial Wellness
No matter how thoughtful and generous a company’s benefits program is, it can only be effective if participants appreciate it and know how to take full advantage of it. Merrill research shows that employees are looking to plan sponsors for help in navigating the benefit programs offered.

From simple things, like how to access online resources and our contact center, to more complex needs, such as how the benefits offered fit into a participant’s holistic financial picture, GCIAS is prepared to work with plan sponsors to equip participants throughout the organization to achieve financial wellness through:

  • Custom communication strategies and education initiatives to help participants at all levels maximize their employer benefits

  • Dedicated Financial Advisors and Financial Solutions Associates who deliver live and web-based presentations to groups of employees, and one-on-one support to individuals at all levels for more personalized discussions

  • Wealth management planning support available at no charge to help employees understand their holistic financial needs and opportunities

  • Specialized communication to support the unique needs of executives and senior managers
