John has been in the financial industry since 1999 and with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since 2007. John brings substantial experience in working with ultra high net-worth families providing advice, guidance and strategies for the planning issues they face. In addition to delivering the vast range of capabilities to our ultra high net-worth families, he also manages the teams retirement benefits group. Designated as a “Retirement Benefits Consultant” within Merrill, he is one of a select group uniquely qualified to deliver the firm's Fiduciary Advisory Services to our defined contribution clients.
Prior to Merrill, John worked with institutional fixed income clients at Goldman Sachs, First Tennessee Bank, and Sterne Agee and Leach.
John attended Avon Old Farms in Avon, CT and he holds and Economics Degree from the College of Charleston. John now lives in Atlanta and enjoys spending time with his wife Aimee and his two children Elizabeth and John.
