David has over 42 years experience in the Financial Services Industry and is in his 24th year at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management . David is a Senior Vice President , Senior Financial Advisor, Senior Portfolio Advisor, and has earned the Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ designation. This designation provides a financial advisor with the specialized knowledge to help high-net-worth clients in sports and entertainment capitalize on opportunities to preserve, grow, and transfer their wealth. The skills, augmented with knowledge gained from this program, will help analyze and evaluate different planning strategies, including qualitative planning, trusts, investments, employee and retirement benefits, cash flow and tax planning strategies, business planning, and estate planning services.
David is located in the Atlanta/Buckhead office, having joined Merrill in 2000 in the Private Wealth Management group servicing the needs of ultra high net worth individuals, families and nonprofit organizations. In 2006, David became an advisor working with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. David continues to work with high net worth individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations. His areas of emphasis include estate, charitable, retirement and wealth management strategies. David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University. Before joining Merrill in March 2000, he spent 18 years with New York Life Insurance Company. At NY Life, he worked with business owners and high net worth individuals regarding their estate, charitable, financial, retirement and investment planning needs.
David is also a former President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Atlanta Chapter.

David and his wife Jody have 4 children and live in Milton, Georgia.
