David Van Horn

Atlanta native David Van Horn took an unconventional path into wealth management. Before becoming a financial advisor, he spent six years competing as a professional golfer, an experience that taught him the value of discipline, preparation, and staying focused on long-term goals.
Today, David helps individuals and families navigate their financial lives with that same mindset. He holds an MBA from the University of Georgia and has earned both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® CFP® certification and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst^® (CAIA^®) designation. His approach combines technical expertise with a genuine commitment to building lasting client relationships and helping those clients make confident financial decisions.
A lifelong athlete, David grew up playing competitive baseball and golf. While no longer playing professionally, he remains an active competitor in amateur tournaments and continues to enjoy the challenge of tournament golf.
Outside the office, David is committed to investing in the next generation. He serves as a small group leader at his church and has mentored the same group of young men since they were in 7th grade. Now in their junior year of high school, he continues to walk alongside as they grow in faith, character, and leadership.
When he is not collaborating with clients, you will find him spending time with family and friends, polishing his Spanish, walking his basset hound, Gertrude, or trying not to overanalyze his golf swing- with mixed results.
