Joel Summerlin is a Senior Financial Advisor, Senior Vice President and Portfolio Advisor, who joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Tampa, Florida in 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alabama. Joel began in the financial services industry as a Financial Advisor in 1992.
With more than 30 years of experience, Joel is a qualified Portfolio Advisor who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their investment objectives by recommending individual, or any combination of, Merrill or approved third-party investment managers’ strategies, funds or portfolios.

Debbie joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in early 1990 as an Operations Specialist with our New York office. She transferred to Tampa in late 1991 to continue her career as an Assistant Vice President, Wealth Management Associate. Debbie works on our team to coordinate all office administrative tasks and to help clients resolve administrative issues.
I follow the deep-seated Merrill tradition of participating in the communities we serve. This drives my interest in spending time volunteering with organizations in our community.
