Dayton Jones brings more than 34 years of experience in investment and wealth management. As a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Dayton works closely with families and business owners to deliver personalized, comprehensive strategies across cash management, investment planning, and liability management. His approach is centered on building long-term relationships and helping clients pursue their financial goals with confidence.
Prior to joining Merrill, Dayton held advisory roles with Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo Advisors, where he also served as Branch Manager. These experiences have contributed to his deep understanding of client needs and disciplined wealth management strategies.
Dayton has long been active in the communities he serves. He has contributed his time and leadership to several organizations, including Robert F. Munroe Day School, Live the Life Ministries, and Hope to Haiti Missions.
Dayton was raised in the agricultural community of Gadsden County after being born in Camilla, Georgia. Growing up as one of eight children in a farming family instilled in him the values of hard work, discipline, and integrity—principles that continue to guide his professional life today. He attended Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina, and served two years in the United States Army at Fort Hood, Texas.
Dayton and his spouse, Angie, have been married for 40 years and reside in Havana, Florida. They raised five children and now enjoy spending time with their nine grandchildren, soon to be eleven.
