Paul M. Hess has worked in the financial services industry since 2005 and joined Merrill in 2021. He advises individuals, families and private entities on portfolio, credit, banking and wealth transfer strategies and implementation. His practice is based on understanding his clients goals and providing potential solutions using the resources of Merrill and Bank of America.
Previous roles include Private Banking at JP Morgan Private Bank in Palm Beach, Institutional Equities Research at Sanford Bernstein in New York and M&A at Barrington Associates in Los Angeles.
Paul graduated from Princeton University with a degree in History.
He lives with his wife, son, daughter and dog in Boca Raton. He is active with Norton Art Museum, ALS Association and Princeton and St. Andrew's Alumni groups. Paul enjoys playing golf, tennis and basketball and reads as much as possible.
