Patricia Cabrera is a talented Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management with over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. While born in Chicago Illinois, she continued her education in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and further obtained her BA in Economics from Florida International University. During her extensive career, she has continuously broadened her educational scope by attaining numerous specialized FINRA Securities and Commodities trading licenses, FINRA Supervisory/Compliance and Branch Office Management licenses, as well as becoming a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
Over the course of her career, Patricia occupied a variety of senior executive management roles, led a variety of specialized development leadership programs for the Women’s Network and occupied the prominent role as Chair-Person for The Latin American Network.
Her passion for children, music and art drove her to become a Board Member and Co-Chair of various non-profit charitable organizations throughout the U.S and the Dominican Republic. These organizations such as His House Children’s Home, St. Jude Research, among others, have offered her the opportunity to expand her circle of relationships in the international and domestic community while contributing to exceptional and meaningful causes. As a devoted advocate for children that she is, she became the voice of the children in Foster Care by becoming a Certified Guardian ad Litem for the State of Florida.
Patricia, has lived in Key Biscayne Florida for the last 20 years with her 4 children. She enjoys living near the ocean and her hobbies include Road Biking and Kayaking.
