Simon was born and raised locally in Ormond Beach, Florida, and began his career with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2022. He received his bachelors in finance and real estate, along with his Master of Science in finance, both from the Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami. Starting his career with Merrill in Orlando, he then moved back home to the Daytona Beach Merrill branch. He has a previous background in data analytics, financial analysis, and portfolio management. He is heavily involved with local charities and organizations within Volusia County and the city of Ormond Beach. Simon also is an FAA Certified Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot, where he has flown as a hobby since 2015, and accumulated well over 700 hours of flight time. Simon’s focus is on delivering a comprehensive approach to preserving and growing wealth that begins with listening to his client’s needs and objectives. Leading with honesty, optimism, and transparency, Simon uses life groups, such as certain goals, overall growth and investment management, to create a financial strategy for his clients that includes asset allocation, estate planning and tax strategies. He is a Portfolio Advisor, who in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their investment objectives by recommending individual, or any combination of, Merrill or approved third- party investment managers’ strategies, funds or portfolios. His access to the investment insights of Merrill and banking convenience of Bank of America helps him address the various aspects of clients’ financial lives. Simon adheres to a disciplined wealth management process, where he builds customized goal-based plans for his clients to assist them in engineering their wealth to work in the best way for their individual families. Simon and his family reside in Ormond Beach. His passions include CrossFit, golf, fishing, flying, and traveling with his family and friends to the Florida Keys.
