At The Corsino Primack Czerwinski & Sherry Group, we cater to people whose passions and perseverance have brought them business success and an array of financial challenges. Many are owners and employees of private companies, medical professionals, corporate executives, divorcees, and generations of families in the Delaware Valley and more than 20 states.

While diverse in their paths to our door and to a fulfilling retirement, the vast majority find themselves with more money than when they were working. Typically, these women and men have saved, sacrificed and invested consistently without letting emotions drive their decisions. We are also attracting a growing number of younger clients who are climbing the corporate ladder, beginning to accumulate wealth and seeking ways to set a wise financial course for themselves and their families.

Whether we meet at clients’ kitchen tables or in our office, we learn that clients need help organizing their financial lives. More than once, we’ve helped a client empty a shoebox full of records to identify important bank and investment statements, legal documents and tax forms.

From the outset of each relationship, we ask questions – some expected, some not, “What do you envision in retirement? Who are you responsible for? What are your greatest financial concerns and most cherished goals? What’s the most important thing in your life?

In turn, we answer clients’ questions about sending kids to college, when to take Social Security, having enough life insurance, and if long-term-care is a good idea. In many cases, we find that pieces of clients’ financial puzzle have been previously ignored, including their liabilities, protective components such as insurance, or simply having a will.

When it comes to investing, we listen to clients and the markets. Sharing our rationales with both spouses whenever possible, we educate – so that they understand what they own and why. We find that better-informed investors enjoy a higher level of comfort. Regardless of how we design each portfolio, a client’s “sleep at night” factor is a key consideration.

Having served dozens of clients with situations that may be similar to yours, we have become a repository of knowledge. This is not our first rodeo. You have our commitment to be highly professional and caring – perhaps more than you’d expect from a financial advisory team.

At The Corsino Primack Czerwinski Group, a hallmark of our process is our planning-based approach. Its success rests on our ability to provoke meaningful discussions with clients, and often learn what they've never shared with others.

As we unveil who we are, clients find it comfortable to do the same. Often, they tell us about a troubling family matter, a health concern, or a difficult business situation. We appreciate clients who place their trust in our discretion and ability to offer helpful guidance. In every instance, we do what we believe are in clients' best interests, even if straightforward suggestions may be difficult for them to hear.

Experience tells us that you – like each of our clients – are a puzzle with a unique blend of circumstances, preferences, achievements and aspirations. To help you articulate your definitions of a fulfilling life, we ask questions: "What brought you here and who was most influential in the decision? What's your experience with investing? Are you responsible an elderly parent, a grandchild, your employees? What do you expect from us?"

Just as we ask questions of clients, we answer theirs. Many ask if they're on track to maintain their lifestyle in retirement, or travel the world. To provide accurate answers, we examine changes that may be needed in clients' spending and saving habits, or in their short- and long-term goals.

Rather than call you when the calendar tells us to, we believe in talking frequently, to discuss a variety of topics – your family, tax situation, cash flow and income, and the markets. When you call, we will recognize your voice and, more importantly, remain mindful of our previous conversation.

Commensurate with the opportunities and challenges facing clients, we are committed to building a highly personalized and proactive dynamic with them. Rather than wait for clients to encounter decisions that we can foresee, we stand behind them by getting out in front of circumstances they anticipate and those they don't. Doing so allows us to present thoughtful recommendations with sufficient time for them to decide how to proceed.

When it comes to investing, we utilize Merrill and external resources for macro research and select our own managers. Then we build our own investment models and formulate your portfolio for you and you alone – with holdings across asset classes based on your risk tolerance, timeline, need for liquidity, objectives and personal preferences.
