Tim and his team work with individuals and families to define and achieve their financial goals. He recognizes his ultimate responsibility to clients is to help them build a solid foundation on which to make their financial decisions with confidence. Tim takes a very hands on role in following through for clients to make sure their needs are always taken care of with the highest level of attention, and that financial strategies are effectively implemented.

Having access to an array of Merrill specialists, Tim advises clients on wealth accumulation, preservation and transfer through the creation of individually customized wealth management strategies utilizing a defined process. This process includes portfolio development, education planning, liability management, tax minimization and insurance planning, with specific emphasis on helping to attain a lifetime retirement income stream. In addition, he also provides strategies pertaining to concentrated stock positions, company stock options, liquidity and alternative investment.

Together with clients, they create a flexible, goals based strategy to guide in the following:
-Analyzing needs and goals.
-Evaluating overall financial situation.
-Establish time horizon and investment risk tolerance.
-Develop an asset allocation based on objectives.
-Create the strategy and review investment performance on an regular basis.

Tim’s goal is to help guide clients so they can make informed choices that fit with their near-and long-term goals. He will also set up appointments for an in-person meeting as needed, such as to discuss life changing events, career transitioning, retirement, portfolio performance, changes in goals and objectives, asset allocation and rebalancing.

Tim joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2007 after spending 9 years with another prominent investment firm.  In addition, Tim holds the designation of CRPC, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor from the College for Financial Planning Institutes Corp.

Tim enjoys spending his free time with his family-wife Shana, daughters Talia and Brooke and son Bryce.  They are active members in the Fairfax Station, VA community in which they reside.
