Joyce J. Mayernick

Joyce Mayernick is a Financial Advisor with the Bono & Kline Group at Merrill. She works with individuals, families, federal employees and contractors, active-duty and retired military members, and aviation professionals to help them navigate important financial decisions and develop strategies aligned with their long-term goals. Taking a personalized approach to each client's unique circumstances, Joyce helps address a broad range of financial needs, including retirement planning, liquidity events, wealth transfer strategies, and customized lending solutions through Bank of America. Working in concert with the Bono & Kline Group, she frequently collaborates with clients' accountants, attorneys, and other professional advisors to deliver coordinated wealth management strategies tailored to their goals and priorities.
 
Joyce began her career in 2008 as a Private Equity Analyst at MTN Capital Partners, where she focused on evaluating acquisition opportunities involving growing middle-market companies. In 2014, she founded her own wedding and event planning firm, where she refined her ability to anticipate client needs, manage complex projects, and create highly personalized client experiences. In 2022, Joyce returned to the financial services industry and joined Merrill Wealth Management, integrating her experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and relationship management into a client-focused wealth management practice.
 
Joyce is an active leader within both the business and military communities. She spent her initial years with Merrill in Sacramento, California, where she served as Merrill's Ambassador to the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and as Ombudsman for U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento. In recognition of her service, she was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Department of Homeland Security for her contributions to the U.S. Coast Guard community. She remains actively involved with the United Service Organizations (USO).
 
A New York City native, Joyce currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, Adam, and their goldendoodle, Winston. In her free time, she enjoys following New York sports, collecting bourbon, discovering new restaurants, and cooking for family and friends.
