Darren Schwartz is a Senior Financial Advisor and Managing Director with the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Group. Darren and his professional team strive to enhance your wealth to meet important financial objectives and conserve your assets by utilizing appropriate risk management techniques determined by your unique situation. Darren is able to work with your outside advisors to help develop a well-rounded and effective plan that allows for wealth to be acquired, maintained, and passed on to children and/or philanthropic entities. Darren utilizes Merrill specialists, including a portfolio manager, investment specialist, trust and estate specialist, and life insurance specialist. He also has access to Bank of America banking specialists. These internal specialists help create customized strategies to help you meet your financial objectives.

Since 2003, Darren has been helping investors create and preserve wealth. With the ability to provide world-class Merrill research and analysis for individuals and families, he started working with the Merrill Private Wealth Management Group in 2008. In 2012, Darren earned the CRPC, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor^TM designation awarded by The College for Financial Planning Institutes Corp. Then in 2018, Darren earned the CPFA, Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor^® designation awarded by the National Association of Plan Advisors (an affiliate of the American Retirement Association).

In addition, Darren currently holds his Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA registrations as well as his Life & Health Insurance Licenses.  

Darren Schwartz is a native of Southern California and lives with his wife and two children in the Los Angeles area.
