With the wealth management strategy as a foundation, financial strategies are customized for each client that are designed to both build and preserve wealth. The process continues with regular updates of the financial strategies and evaluations of the portfolio strategy and progress toward goals.
Laura has a particular empathy for the challenges faced by single women and seniors. Recently divorced or widowed women may not have had the opportunity to be involved in financial management and want the support of a professional to help them make important financial decisions. Laura helps them gain the confidence they need to manage their financial affairs.
Through her charitable work with seniors, Laura has an understanding of the challenges seniors confront with both their finances and other life issues. She draws on this experience to help seniors and their families make wise choices for all generations.
Laura has worked in the financial services industry for 30 years and has a CFP® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Her education includes: a BA in Economics from Chatham College and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She previously served on the Boards of the San Francisco Ladies Protection and Relief Society and The Maybeck Foundation.
