Rajiv Dadlani is a Senior Vice President, Senior Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Rajiv joined Merrill in 2014 and draws on more than twenty years of financial services experience in his role as a Senior Financial Advisor.

Rajiv advises individuals – entrepreneurs, executives, and their families – on net worth management, taking into consideration all their assets and liabilities and constructing balance sheets appropriate for their needs.

Rajiv develops capital growth and capital preservation strategies as relevant for each client’s taxable and tax-deferred portfolios – using equities, equity derivatives, bonds, ETFs, specialist funds, and alternative investments. For clients with concentrated stock exposure, Rajiv is able to construct customized hedging strategies and advise on related approaches that increase tax efficiency.

Rajiv also works with startup companies and advises them on setting up and structuring retirement plans – as a differentiator for employee recruitment and retention.

Previously, Rajiv worked as an advisor on investment banking transactions, including domestic and cross-border M&A and capital-raising, and as a buy-side equity research analyst.

Rajiv has an undergraduate degree in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MBA in finance from London Business School. Rajiv has also completed coursework in valuation and financial restructuring at Harvard Business School.
