A New York City native, Joyce began her career in 2008 as a private equity analyst at MTN Capital Partners, focusing on evaluating acquisitions involving growing middle‑market companies. In 2014, she pursued a long‑held creative interest by founding her own wedding and event planning firm. In this entrepreneurial role, she refined her ability to manage complex logistics, anticipate client needs, and deliver highly curated experiences.

In 2022 Joyce returned to the financial sector, integrating her diverse professional background into a client‑focused wealth management practice. She provides strategic guidance across retirement planning, liquidity events, and multigenerational wealth transfer. Her advisory process begins with a thorough assessment of each client’s goals, priorities, and financial circumstances, enabling the development of tailored strategies aligned with short‑, mid‑, and long‑term objectives. She serves a broad range of clients, including federal employees and contractors, retired military members and veterans, small‑business owners, and families seeking structured, high‑quality financial planning.

Her approach is highly collaborative, working closely with clients and their external advisors—including CPAs, trust and estate attorneys, and other professionals—to deliver fully integrated and appropriate wealth management solutions. Through Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and the banking capabilities of Bank of America, she provides clients access to an extensive network of investment specialists, lending solutions, and institutional‑level resources to support residential, securities‑based, and commercial financing, as well as everyday banking needs.

After beginning her career with Merrill in Dallas, Joyce relocated to the Sacramento office in late 2024 as her husband, Adam, continued his military service as a search‑and‑rescue pilot. She currently serves as the Merrill Ambassador to the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), is the Ombudsman for U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento, and actively volunteers with the United Service Organizations (USO).
