Alisa J. Chanpong is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. She has been with the Firm since 1999 and is a graduate of the University of Southern California, earning her B.S. Degree in Business Administration with emphases in Entrepreneurship and Business Communication from the Marshall School of Business in 1994.

Throughout the course of her career, Alisa has achieved several professional designations; including the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation through the College for Financial Planning Institutes Corps. She also holds the Series 7, 66, and 31 FINRA Registrations.

Alisa is passionate about her work. Her commitment to clients’ personal goals and dedication to their best interest is what makes her an outstanding Advisor. Alisa and her team, here, at Merrill focus in working with affluent individuals, their families and closely held businesses. In addition to providing customized investment advice, she implements financial strategies which include detailed wealth and retirement outlook analysis' for clients so they can see their whole financial picture from a planning perspective. This planning analysis helps clients to make important investment and life decisions based on a combination of planning details and not just their investments. To provide and execute customized recommendations for clients’ planning and investment needs, Alisa works closely with a team of internal specialists to help ensure that clients have access to the highest degree of advice. These Specialists focus on the areas of Wealth Management Banking (which include Residential lending and Commercial Banking through Bank of America, N.A), Custom and Commercial lending, Trust and Estate Strategies, Insurance, Annuities, Long-term care, Commercial Banking and Personal/Corporate Retirement Plans. Alisa also partners with your trusted tax and legal advisors to help ensure a coordinated approach to wealth management and preservation.

She lives with her husband, J.P. Amateau, who is an Executive Chef and Restaurant Food Consultant. His creative talent has been featured on The Food Network’s Emeril Lagasse’s “The Originals with Emeril” and Oprah Winfrey Network’s top rated Canadian television show “Anna & Kristina’s Grocery Bag”. Together they have two daughters, Lily and Ella. Additionally, Alisa also has two siblings, Robert and Christina Chanpong, who are also experienced Financial Advisors with Merrill in the Pasadena Office.

In her spare time, Alisa enjoys traveling with her family and considers herself a “foodie”. She is an active member of the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts, The Trojan League of Los Angeles and Town & Gown of USC.
