Jolon has been in the financial service industry since 2006 and joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2012. Prior to joining Merrill, Jolon gained valuable outside experience as an institutional trader and financial advisor. For the last few years Jolon has been recognized by Forbes on the “Top Next Gen Wealth Advisors” in 2018, 2020, and 2021 (Published annually July – Sept. Rankings based on data as of March 31 of current year) and was on the Forbes Best in State Next Gen Advisors list in 2019 (Published on September 4, 2019. Rankings based on data as of March 31, 2019).
His focus is on providing tailored relationship based advice to affluent clients around their personal financial strategies and wealth management. The scope of advice and guidance includes concentrated stock issues, managing liquidity events, retirement planning, estate planning services, tax minimization strategies, asset management, and strategic lending.
Jolon is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of California, with a bachelor’s degree in Economics as well as Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Services. Jolon currently is an active member in the Greater Willow Glen Community and the Sacred Heart Community. He and his wife, Nicole, live in San Jose with their daughter and their two sons. He enjoys spending time with his family through involvement in their schools and sports - tennis and baseball.
