Andrej Simunac

Andrej Simunac is an Assistant Vice President and Financial Advisor with Merrill, headquartered in El Segundo, California. Andrej looks to create a positive, lasting impact on the clients he serves, helping them move from where they are, to where they want to be in their financial lives. With more than fifteen years of experience, he offers practical knowledge and insight, as well as a commitment to client well-being. Integrity, he believes, is fundamental to good relationships, so he strives to create a client experience that demonstrates how much he values each person and family.

Clients from varied paths seek Andrej’s assistance. Many are professionals—doctors, dentists, CPAs, and attorneys. Others are executives and business owners. Whatever a client’s path to wealth, Andrej looks to help clients discern their readiness for a significant goal: financial freedom. He addresses multiple factors in each client’s financial life: investing, long-term planning, savings, wealth transfer, and banking and lending through Bank of America. A strong collaborator and attentive listener, Andrej believes that a client’s financial framework should be as unique as the individual it represents. To that end, he offers a thoughtful and measured approach to each client’s needs, methodically resolving issues and uncovering possible efficiencies. Andrej has worked in banking and wealth management since 2006. He began his career with Wells Fargo, serving as a Licensed Banker. Andrej then moved to Merrill in 2011, serving as a Financial Advisor for more than two-and-a-half years in the greater L.A. Market. After a tenure as a Private Banker with Wells Fargo, Andrej returned to Merrill in 2022. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from California State University, Northridge.

Andrej has a son and a daughter and loves spending time with them. Together, they like to explore new destinations and try different cuisines. In his free time, Andrej also enjoys an active lifestyle, including hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, running, and backpacking in the Sierras. Originally from the former Yugoslavia, he likes to travel widely. He welcomes the opportunity to discuss two of his favorite destinations, Croatia and Mexico.
