Harout Dermendjian is a Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor, with Merrill in Beverly Hills/Century City, California. He holds the Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ designation and holds a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation from the Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) and taught in conjunction with Yale University. Harout works closely with business owners, developers, athletes and entertainers, helping them chart a more purposeful and strategic path toward their goals. He offers first-hand experience in unwinding the complexities that wealth can entail, smoothing a client’s pursuit of meaningful attainments in their personal and professional finances. Drawing on his knowledge of multiple wealth disciplines, Harout looks to help clients capitalize on possible efficiencies across the framework of their wealth. His areas of focus include portfolio design and implementation, as well as long-term strategy. He also provides access to a diverse suite of lending services through Bank of America, including consumer and business banking, residential and commercial lending, and business lending. Harout recognizes that wealth decisions are ultimately about people and their priorities. He takes great satisfaction in helping people, whether that is facilitating their access to capital, connecting them to opportunities in the investment markets, or bringing structure and clarity to their financial decisions. He feels that clients, in turn, can perceive his passion for his work and his dedication to their long-term well-being. Harout has significant experience in banking and wealth management. He began his career with Bank of America in 2010, serving as a loan officer for three years. In 2013, he moved to Citibank serving as a Personal and Business Banker, where provided banking services to high-net-worth clients, expanding his knowledge of various lending needs and structures. In 2017, Harout was promoted to Assistant Vice President as a Wealth Relationship Manager with Citibank. Four years later, he joined Merrill as a Wealth Management Advisor, where he now enjoys advising a diverse and dynamic clientele. He earned his B.S. from California State University Northridge and his M.B.A. in Finance from Pepperdine University. Harout likes to spend time with his wife exploring new destinations, near and far.
