Brandt is a Managing Director, Private Wealth Manager at Merrill Private Wealth Management, where he assists a diverse clientele in navigating the complexities of institutional-sized wealth. He focuses on working with large real estate family offices and executives of publicly held companies. Using his access to Merrill’s robust resources, Brandt develops tailored strategies aligned to clients’ financial objectives. He offers extensive knowledge in sophisticated credit solutions, cash-flow management, transactional banking, and access to estate and tax planning strategies, and he provides insightful guidance to help unlock the value of concentrated assets. For every client, Brandt offers thoughtful leadership, professional expertise, and global investment opportunities, and he is committed to fostering enduring relationships with each generation of their family.
Brandt brings more than 26 years of experience to the team. Prior to his role at Merrill, he held positions as a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Deutsche Bank in Los Angeles, where he served a similar clientele. Brandt holds a B.A. from Randolph-Macon College and completed a rigorous three-year curriculum at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking in partnership with the Wharton Executive Leadership Program.
Outside the office, Brandt serves on the Board of Governors for the City of Hope Foundation and previously served on the board of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation. He resides in Newport Beach and Century City.
