Hisashi Sakashita is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with Merrill in Beverly Hills, California. Hisashi provides thoughtful advice and customized guidance to individuals, families, and businesses, helping them pursue their financial goals more effectively. Committed to each client’s well-being, he believes strongly in educating clients to pursue informed decisions, supporting them in their path as capable and confident stewards of their wealth.

 

Hisashi incorporates the knowledge and insight he has gained from more than two decades in wealth management. This first-hand experience has solidified his understanding of the needs of business owners, professionals, entrepreneurs, and other wealth creators. To these clients, he offers integrated strategies and an extensive suite of capabilities, including investment management, trust and estate planning services, business and succession planning, and access to lending through Bank of America. Hisashi is also attuned to clients’ personal priorities, such as saving for higher education for children and grandchildren, purchasing a first or second home, or contributing to a favorite charitable organization.

 

Consultative by nature, Hisashi develops long-term relationships grounded in his desire to have a positive impact on the trajectories of clients’ lives. He strives to present clients with options so they can be active participants in charting their course ahead. Prior to joining Merrill, he served as a Senior Financial Advisor with Union Banc Investment Services and an Investment Advisor with Prudential Financial. He began his career as a Financial Advisor in 2000. Originally from Japan, Hisashi earned his B.A. in Physics and Engineering Mathematics from the University of San Diego and is fluent in Japanese.

 

Active in the Japan America Society, Hisashi was a founder of the Society’s annual Sake and Beer Festival. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, movies, ceramics, the arts, cooking, and dining.
