Sergio Mejia

Sergio joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2016.  His focus is on developing tailored strategies to help clients pursue short and long-term goals for a select group of high-net-worth individuals, their families and their businesses.  Working closely with clients' other trusted advisors, Sergio's approach is collaborative, consultative, and committed to excellence.
Sergio completed his undergraduate degrees from The University of Arizona and Eller School of Management where he attained a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications.  Sergio holds the Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
As a first-generation immigrant from Colombia, Sergio is passionate about giving back to the community and is involved in many nonprofit organizations around the valley.  As an active member of the Hispanic Leadership Business Council at Bank of America Sergio provides financial education and business resources to the Hispanic-Latino Community.
Sergio is committed to giving back to his community and in his free time he is a proud and active member of the Phoenix 20-30 Club, one of the oldest philanthropic organizations in the valley dedicated to servicing underprivileged children. Sergio, his wife Jackie, and his Children Diego and Camila live in Scottsdale, Arizona where he enjoys cycling, golfing and active engagement in his church.
